We loved our stay! The hotel was beautiful and the rooms were very comfortable. We appreciated the robes and shoes left for us (including kids' sizes for my small kids!) The pools were wonderful and we put them to great use. The breakfast in particular was fantastic - a wonderful spread with plenty of options, including a whole table of gluten-free products! My only note is the location (and it's not a bad note, just something to be aware of for other guests without a car who want to explore) - it's a 20-minute very uphill/up lots of stairs walk from the lake/town so just keep that in mind. The view is stunning, though!

The property is very nice, the penthouse is a great place to stay with beautiful views over Lugano and the lake. The most impressive was however the amazing staff. Always friendly, helpful and made you feel welcome at all times!

The hotel location (higher up, so you could see the entire town and the lake), staff (super courteous), and the room (very spacious, gorgeous views of the mountains and lake) were just perfect! We are so glad we chose this place and will be highly recommending it to our friends. Huge shout-out to front-desk (Francesco Cardona, Roxana, Marco), and Andre (bar/restaurant). It is always the service that makes the difference, and Villa Sassa’s was exceptional!

Amazing stay overall, the front disk staff was so welcoming, upgraded our room to welcome us. Did great welcoming with complementary kit. Our suite large and has balcony, room has AC The hotel is an apartments style, with facilities of car park, and spa as well as swimming pool. Just about 15 to 20 mins to Lugano lake.

The room was amazing. Big room (suite). They provide umbrella and pool bag, slippers and robe. View its stunning They are having renovations but nothing that mess with the stay. Breakfast its good. Mini bar its good and good prices

I liked the Spa (sauna, pool, open late). Beautiful view off the balcony. Great breakfast with lots of variety. Rooms were spacious and clean. Nice complimentary bathrobe, flip flops, umbrella. Nice kitchen with oven, dishwasher.

Very friendly staff, quick check in. The garden is very big and beautiful, a lot of space for my son to run around. Generally, hotel is very family and child friendly. Once during dinner our 20 month old son got tired and was a bit uneasy. The lovely waiter came over and was folding a little paper boat. Thank you for that! Spa section is nice, with a warm indoor pool. I asked to pick us up from Lugano train station, the pickup was for free, thanks a lot for that. We also asked for a baby bed and our son received a decent and big baby bed. We shall come again.
